Reducing Diabetes Risk
Barbara was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and struggled to maintain healthy habits, feeling that she didn’t want to deprive herself of the “good things in life”. With the encouragement of her doctor, Barbara decided that it was critical to make some lifestyle improvements and sought help from MeleLiving coaching. As we worked together, Barbara found ways to be playful with her new exercise routine, eat delicious fruits instead of cake, be accountable and still enjoy herself. As Barbara’s waist size and overall weight has decreased, her doctor approved of her progress and she felt more happy and confident.
