7-Breath Alchemy of the Heart Meditation
When you feel a little agitated, overwhelmed, angry or sad about the world around you, you may find that your spirits are lifted by this 7-Breath Heart-Opening Meditation. Please feel free to make it your own.
Take a moment, pause your thoughts and put your hands on your heart. Take a deep breath and feel your own magical beat.
Imagine stepping into your private sanctuary, a glorious cathedral or a secret rose garden.
Take a 2nd deep breath and say to your heart, “I love you.”
On your 3rd deep breath, ask your heart to clear, dissolve, and forgive all sadnesses, heartbreaks, regrets and negative energy you’ve held onto, mistakenly believing that holding these things protects you. As you fully exhale, feel their release and imagine transmuting them into pure light.
With your 4th deep inhale, fill all the newly opened spaces of your heart with pure unconditional love.
On your 5th breath, feel that love in your heart flowing to all corners of your body.
With your 6th deep breath, ask your heart to show you how to stay open and loving and present.
On your 7th deep breath say, “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you... I love you.”
